ATTENDANCE REPORTING RULES
Attendance must be reported to WEY Swim Team Attendance Manager WEYattendance@yahoo.com BEFORE the due date listed for each swim meet.

POSITIVE ATTENDANCE REPORTING:
For meets with Positive Reporting indicated, you must send the Attendance Manager an email stating that you WILL attend the meet. If you do not report your positive attendance before the deadline, you will NOT be entered into the meet.

AUTO-ENTRY, also referred to as Negative Attendance Reporting:
If you cannot attend the meet in question, you must send the Attendance Manager an email stating that you will NOT attend. If you do not report your negative attendance before the deadline, you will be entered into the meet, and entry fees will be deducted from your WEPO Declining Balance Account. Dual Meets are Auto-Entry (no fees, but absence reports are crucial), some Invitational Meets are Auto-Entry, and Championship Meets are Auto-Entry.

LATE ABSENCE REPORTS :
If you are expected at a meet, but cannot attend, send your late Absence Report by email to WEYattendance@yahoo.com. IF IT IS WITHIN 48 BEFORE THE MEET, SEND A TEXT MESSAGE OR CALL THE COACH'S EMERGENCY NUMBER THAT IS LISTED ON THE MEET ANNOUNCEMENT IN THE CHART ABOVE. Text messages are preferred; voicemails are okay. Failing to report your absence is not okay! Do NOT report absence to YMCA staff, Do NOT call the Y at all - follow only the rules listed here. Swim meets with entry fees will not issue refunds for late absence reports.
